Description
This special edition line of premium high quality poster prints features a herd of pronghorn antelope on the high plains in the Laramie Valley in Southeast Wyoming with Centennial Ridge in the Rocky Mountains in the background on a crisp winter bluebird sky day.
Pronghorn have the longest land migration in the continental Unites States and they are also the fastest land animal in North America running up to speeds close to 60 mph. They are not as fast as cheetahs, although they can maintain a fast speed longer than a cheetah can. Herds of pronghorn migrate 150 between Wyoming’s Green River Basin and Grand Teton National Park. They are ungulates, or hoofed animals, related to goats and antelope. They are often called speed goats.
This original graphic art is a rendition of a photograph from professional photographer and graphic artist Allison Pluda / Seneca Creek Studios.
